GINGER

Our organic ginger or kion (as it is known in Peru ) is a plant of the Zingiberáceae family, whose underground stem is a horizontal rhizome highly appreciated for its aroma and spicy flavor. The plant reaches a height of 90 cm, with 20 cm long leaves.

Ginger is rich in vitamins B and C, minerals, amino acids, and essential oils. Contains calcium, phosphorus, fibers, valine and leucine. Also gingerol and phytosterols. In addition, it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and decongestant properties.
